Under certain circumstances Boundary County is required, by Idaho Code and local ordinances, to publish legal notices in the official Boundary County newspaper of record, the Bonners Ferry Herald. While publication on this site does not constitute official legal notice, they are posted here to allow the widest possible dissemination of information of importance to residents and property owners in Boundary County. NOTICE OF HEARING REGARDING APPLICATION 17-139 - CONDITIONAL USE

The Boundary County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearing at 5:30 PM Thursday, September 21, 2017 in the Boundary County Courthouse to accept public comment on a Conditional Use Application, 17-139 by Matt Philbrook.

Application 17-139 involves the placement of a 6-plex on a parcel in the County Residential zone. This location, behind the Safeway store on Main Street, is proposed to have a second multi-plex structure providing adequate parking and attached garages included in both structures.

The deadline for written comment and material for 17-139 is 12 PM Thursday September 14, 2017.


The Planning & Zoning Commission meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month. In order to schedule a Public Hearing of the Planning & Zoning Commission, requests must be made prior to the fourth (4th) Thursday (4 weeks) in advance of the hearing date. (Generally, the request must be received one month in advance of the hearing date.)

The deadline for written comment and material is 12 noon one week prior to the scheduled hearing date. Written comment may be mailed to: Boundary County Planning & Zoning, PO Box 419, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805, faxed to (208) 267-7814 or emailed to planning@boundarycountyid.org. Written comment will be accepted at public hearing provided the material is read into the record. There may be a five (5) minute limit per person on verbal testimony.
