Bruce Behrman, Rod Barcklay, Henry McMahon. Members absent: John Kellogg, Barry

- Hollingsworth opened the meeting, introduced members
and called for reading of the May minutes. Reoch made motion to waive
reading and approve as mailed, McMahon seconded and the motion carried
unanimously.
- Hollingsworth opened public hearing on application
07-117 and reviewed procedure. Applicant John Van Etten described his
proposal, saying he planned to build three storage buildings containing a
total of 36 units. Addressing the letter from Road and Bridge, he stated he
had talked to superintendent Jeff Gutshall regarding upgrading the existing
drive to county standards. He stated that to keep traffic from using a drive
on Deep Creek Loop, he planned to move his horse pasture to that area and
fence the drive. He stated the buildings would have security lighting,
likely on a motion sensor. Discussion was held on lighting and the access.
No member of the public was in attendance, so the hearing was closed to
public testimony. Discussion was held on terms and conditions. Reoch made
motion to forward to county commissioners a recommendation that application
07-117 be approved with the conditions that the approach be upgraded to
County Road and Bridge standards and that security lighting be shielded so
as to prevent glare on adjoining properties. Behrman seconded and the motion
carried unanimously.
- Discussion was held regarding absences.
- Discussion was held on the comprehensive plan and
members were given fresh copies of the draft as well as CDs with the draft
and the proposed map and told of the time and date of public hearing.
- There being no further business, Barcklay made motion
to adjourn. Negley seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The meeting
adjourned at 6 p.m.
