Under certain circumstances Boundary County is required, by Idaho Code and local ordinances, to publish legal notices in the official Boundary County newspaper of record, the Bonners Ferry Herald. While publication on this site does not constitute official legal notice, they are posted here to allow the widest possible dissemination of information of importance to residents and property owners in Boundary County. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Boundary County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013, in the main courtroom at the Boundary County Courthouse to accept public comment on a zone map amendment application 13-069 by Dennis Shelton, to change 14 parcels of property from Commercial/Light Industrial zone to Rural Community Commercial zone. This change will allow the establishment of residences on the parcels. The property is in the Airport Overlay Zone, located SE of the airport on Sunrise Road (private), and is a total of 30.89 acres; the parcels range from 1.82 to 6.41 acres. The planning and zoning commission will render a recommendation to forward to the Board of County Commissioners, who will be the deciding body on the application.
The deadline for written comment and material is 5 p.m. Thursday December 12, 2013. Written comment may be mailed to Boundary County Planning and Zoning, PO Box 419, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805, faxed to (208) 267-1205, or emailed to email@example.com. Written comment will be accepted at the public hearing provided the material is read into the record. There may be a five (5) minute limit per person on verbal testimony.
