Booths are reserved in the order the application, with payment, are received in the Fair Office. All fees must reach the office on or before July 30, 2010.  Cancellation after that date or a no-show will forfeit the fee.  Fees are to be paid to the Boundary County Fair Board.

Selling of products, raffle tickets, drawings, etc. and distribution of any materials is permitted only from within your booth.

 

All fair rules and regulations in the fair book must be followed.  The Boundary County Fair Board has the right to reject any product, item, or material to be sold or given away during the air if it is deemed detrimental to the fair.  No prizes of guns (cap, dart, spud or water), noisemakers, colored hair spray/paint, or water balloons.  Compliance with these rules is mandatory.  Failure to remove rejected items will result in your being asked to leave the premises and forfeit all fees.

REGISTRATION:

Please complete the application and return it to the Fair Office with payment before July 30, 2010.  Booth space will be reserved upon receipt of payment.  Display booth fees are waived for the following organizations but must still submit an application to reserve booth space (one booth maximum): schools, 4-H/FFA, public health, and fire/law enforcement agencies.  If you wish to cancel your reservation please call or write the Fair Office before July 30, 2010.

SET-UP AND TAKE-DOWN:

Set-up time on Tuesday for all areas is 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.  On Wednesday all areas are to be set up by 11:00 a.m. as the Exhibit and Memorial Hall will close for judging.  Those two halls will remain locked until the conclusion of Opening Ceremonies at approximately 7:30 p.m.  Trailers will be permitted on-grounds during set-up but must be removed to designated parking area during the fair.  Take-down is Sunday 9:00 a.m.  until 11:00 a.m.   Early take-down may be authorized with proper written request and be received in the Fair Office by July 30, 2010.  Unauthorized take-down may result in forfeiture of a 2011 fair space.

 

EXHIBIT HALL, MEMORIAL HALL, SMALL ANIMALS AND PHOTOGRAPHY WILL BE CLOSED AND LOCKED FOR JUDGING ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 18th AT 11:00 a.m.  THEY WILL REMAIN LOCKED UNTIL AFTER OPENING CEREMONIES AT APPROXIMATELY 7:30 p.m.

SECURITY:

Exhibit hall and Pavilion are locked and secure at night.  The outside ground space is not secured by locks so each vendor is asked to secure their space.

 

DISPLAY BOOTH CONTEST:

If you wish to participate in the display booth contest, open to both commercial and noncommercial, the fair them must be incorporated into the booth decorations.  The winning booth will receive a ribbon and a certificate for booth space of equal or lesser value for the 2011 fair.
