Dave Kramer called the meeting to order at 0800. Dave went over a few upcoming events, emergency evacuation plan from Creston that they will look at and implement into Boundary County.
Bob Graham explained the PSIC grant money and what it will be used for. Also, the new project on Dawson Ridge, to build a new building and move the repeaters for better communications.
Tony Rohrwasser said from the information he received there will be a Ceremony to honor the victims of 9-11 on Sept. 11, 2008 at Sandpoint City Beach.
Cynthia Taggart spoke about the Boundary County Joint Information System, If any one would like more information or has information please contact Cynthia 415-5108.
Tish Lagerwey from Customs and Border Protection, They will be having a Table Top Exercise, Natural Disaster (Wildfire). September 17, 2008 at Eastport, 9-11 am. Any questions please contact them at 267-3966.
Regina Sherman announced they have received a new ambulance, 4-wheel drive, but are looking for donations for a gurney for it.
Kevin Greenleaf explained they will be doing field burning in the area soon.
Tony Rohrwasser is finishing up on the pager grant and will be programming the pagers soon.
